James Rodgers joined Brown & Brown in August 2011 and brings a strong work ethic and enthusiasm to the company.

Originally from Destin, Florida, James moved to New Orleans in 2004 to attend Tulane University. Upon graduating in 2008 with a history degree and pre-med concentration, he worked as a sales associate for Stryker Orthopaedics. At Stryker, James gained valuable outside sales experience that at the same time fulfilled his desire to help others as he assisted surgeons and other surgical staff in a wide array of surgeries. He brings these qualities as well as a dedication to helping his clients succeed to his position at Brown & Brown.

James is involved with the Sigma Chi Fraternity as advisor to Tulane's chapter and is an active member in the Youth Leadership Council in various projects.
